I'm sorry you ladies haven't gotten your ornaments yet.  If you want to email me your address, I will gladly go pick you up a couple of ornaments and send them to you.  I think it's yucky that you didn't get yours! 

I'm going to flame myself...I've had a crappy attitude for the past few weeks about everything because I am SOOOO unhappy at work.  I need to not let work effect the rest of my life.

Think of it this way.  the people who signed up DID want to participate, and the thoughts were there.  Sometimes life gets in the way and money isn't where we thought it would be.

So I got an e-mail saying my pictures were ready from the half marathon.  I haven't met the girl who ran in my place, so I was curious to see what she looked like, so I clicked on it.  From the looks of it, it looks like she was mostly walking the race and I hate to say it, but I'm kind of pissed.  Hell, I could have walked the damn 13 miles if I wanted to in my boot.  I was hoping to give my bib to someone who took it a little more seriously.

I hate to do this and call you out.....but Desiree is Mariahs secret Santa and I really think you should apoligize to her about her ornament. If you hadnt had time to send it to her, than just tell her. Here she is waiting and waiting for it and wondering if it will get sent. Why would you do that to her? Or to anybody? It pisses me off and I think you owe her some sort of sorry. Especially when you have asked her questions about stuff she likes to do for fun, etc.

I know after saying this that I will get flamed or whatever but I dont like to see her that way and I dont think Mariah deserves it.

And if 2 days was not enough time, than why is it nobody stepped up to tell me? I could have easily changed it and would have not been offended. I would respect you more for telling me and being honest with me. My feelings dont get hurt over stuff like that and if it was easier for everybody else, than I wouldn't have cared. I didnt expect you have them mailed out by that Monday, but I thought maybe throughout the week.

I hope this doesnt sound rude but just my thought.

Sarah - it is not sour!!  It looks like overall it was a great success and everyone has loved their ornaments.  That is what it is all about!!

I'm really sorry if I made you feel that way.   My sentiments were not to the exchange itself, but to the people who let us down with no explanation.  Danielle came clean and I am fine with it now. 

It just sucks that some people can stay anonymous and no one would ever know...and I'm glad you gave out Mariah's secret santa's name!

I wasn't saying two days wasn't enough time for everyone.  Just for me because I'm so busy on the weekends.  

I hope you aren't upset with me for saying I didn't do it because of that.  I think overall the ornaments people got were awesome and most people were very happy.

I didn't participate for the fact that I am HORRIBLE at sending things in the mail. It takes time and lately I am going non-stop. And I know what you mean about "regulars" participating, first it makes it easier to get them something they like, plus it kind of lets you know how honest they are really going to be.

I have become a lurker on the knot , since they updated the system i guess my iphone doesn't like it and I can't get the text box to work. Has anybody else had this problem?

Which brings me to another point I still depise the knot for making us with a "&" in our name lose our post count. Now I am a new with a whole whooping 8 post. Hello I have been on here for over a year now "knot gods" and I want credit for that.

It's not as bad as it was in the beginning but I still get the tiny vertical box that I can't do anything with so I have to reresh my page a lot and I'm on my work computer.
