Flowers that go with Coral

I am trying to figure out what colors best go with coral bridesmaids dresses. My wedding colors are coral and sage green. My wedding is in September, and I was thinking of more of a wild flower or a more natural flower. We are using herbs for decorations in the reception.

Any ideas of good colors and/or flowers for boquets/boutineers?

Re: Flowers that go with Coral

  • I think dahlias and chrysanthemums are nice for that time of year and they come in a wide variety of colors. I think if you use a combination of darker shades and lighter ones, they will pop off the dresses more in photos.
    Some color combination ideas:
    Rasberry, peach and ivory
    Purple, coral and white/ivory

I think even white and green bouquets with some soft blush tones would look nice against coral dresses.

I just saw a wedding today on a local blog where the BMs wore coral and she used peach, white and a bright pink.  I can identify roses and peonies in her bouquets.
  • I love dahlias in just one shade lighter than the dresses.  Then they will pop agains that beautiful coral color and they can easily be mixed with lots of greenery to add a wildflower touch.
  • <div>Often times people use a peach color to match the coral color scheme. </div><div>
    </div><div>Here is an example of a peach bouquet:</div><div><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/101859738/peach-and-gray-vintage-wedding-bouquet?ref=v1_other_2" rel="nofollow">https://www.etsy.com/listing/101859738/peach-and-gray-vintage-wedding-bouquet?ref=v1_other_2</a></div><div>
</div><div>But you could go a different direction and go with an opposite color scheme like purples and other deep colors like this bouquet:</div><div><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/100498254/mystic-wonderland-bouquet-and" rel="nofollow">https://www.etsy.com/listing/100498254/mystic-wonderland-bouquet-and</a></div><div>
</div><div>My favorite option though is turquoise and coral together.  I think those two colors when paired together really contrast each other brilliantly.  Picture coral with this arrangement:</div><div><a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/101858744/turquoise-serenity-floral-arrangement" rel="nofollow">https://www.etsy.com/listing/101858744/turquoise-serenity-floral-arrangement</a></div><div>
</div><div>Whichever color scheme you choose will look amazing! I hope this helped! :)</div><div>
