Flowers

Clueless about flowers for family members! HELP!

What kind of arrangements are you doing for your grandmothers for the wedding? We have 4 grandmothers, 1 MOG, 1 StepMom of Groom and my Mom is the Matron of Honor so I am having her flowers match the other bridesmaids. Our flowers are blue hydrangea and yellow calla lillies. Should we do corsages or small bouquets? I want to get an idea of what everyone else is doing!!! THANKS!

I would ask them what they prefer.  Some women do not like wearing corsages.  If you know they are carrying a clutch you can also do a small corsage that can be pinned to their purses.

As for me this is what I am doing...
Grandmothers - single roses with a bow
Mothers - small nosegay in whites (cause I was unsure of dress colors)

I agree with pp-- ask people what they are comfortable with. My mother HATES corsages. She asked that she carry a single rose, so that is what we are giving all of the honored women in our families. It makes it easier for them to hug and not crush the flowers yet still singles them out.
