Dear Kansas City area brides,
My husband and I got married almost 4 months ago in Kansas City, Missouri. We live in New York City so planning our wedding long distance was not always a piece of cake. We had the greatest day and, as all brides say, it flew by too fast. Of all of the vendors we worked with, honestly none compared to our florist Angela Emig and her company Poppy & Clover Floral Design. I am really confounded that she is not even listed as a KC floral vendor on The Knot. We found her through a google search. We got two other quotes from florists in KC, one was twice the price, and one was literally three times the price of Poppy & Clover. From our first meeting Angela just understood exactly what we were interested in even when we were not even 100% sure yet! She just jumped in whole-heartedly to our color palette. We wanted low height wooden boxes as our centerpieces for our rustic-chic reception. Not only did her and her husband custom build and stain the wooden boxes, they were BEYOND any expectation. She layered the textures, colors, and depths of the flowers so beautifully and we had guys coming up to us at the wedding commenting on how nice the flowers were. (When do guys notice flowers at a wedding?) She was professional, friendly, and always there with an answer to any question or ready to go with the flow when things needed changes. She reused all of our ceremony decor at the reception, decorated our cake with florals, and just made the color palette and feel of the entire day tie together, She is a very talented florist and a lovely person to work with. She has to be the most UNDERRATED wedding vendor in Kansas City. If you are looking for a florist who will listen, understand, suggest and then KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF then you should check out Poppy & Clover Floral Design. I know it sounds too good to be true but my husband and I were just so pleasantly surprised at the quality and service we received for the price. You will not be disappointed!
