Calla Lilies for a Tropical Themed Wedding??

My wedding is in very late June, and I'm having a flower crisis. My wedding is tropical themed and I am looking for a tropical pink (think vibrant) flower for my BMs. My florist talked my into Calla Lillies, but now I'm not so sure. I've talked with her about hibiscus and plumeria (I LOVED THE PLUMERIA), but she said that since they were shrubs she couldn't get them. I don't have a hige budget for flowers. Can anyone give me any ideas? Do you think calla lilies give off a tropical vibe?

IMO, not really.  Callas seem to be a pretty classical wedding flower.  You can always try pink anthurium, pink ginger (pretty large flower but may be good for your centerpieces), pink orchids, pink proteas, and even stargazer lilies.  You can even add some tropical greenery to the bouquets as well...bear or lily grass could be and could be looped to give a different and more dramatic look.

I love all of the different colored daisies for tropical stuff, but that's just me. I was going to use them before we completely changed course on our wedding.

Callas are both simple, elegant, and a touch exotic, plus, they are easy to get in a variety of shades, and would e perfect for a tropical wedding.

You could always add just a few other "exotic" or tropical flowers as an accent, like hibiscus, orchids, or freesia.

Yes, especially the coral colors...I am adding a few to my bouquet and the bouts for our beach wedding
