preserved orchids?

I was thinking about using them for decor and maybe in the bouquets or something, but how are they? i found a deal online but dont want to order them if they arent worth it.  are they brittle and dry? do they really never wilt? any info would be great!

have seen them and they are very brittle... Wouldn't go there... 

Fresh orchid sprays anr not that expensive... dendrobiums are about $4 each and 2 with some beargrass and a little branch of willow or so in a nice vase are a pretty classy simple and cheap little centerpiece... 

Id say avoid the temptation to get it done early and hang in there for the fresh stuff...
