Orange roses

Hi! My colors are egglplant purple and burnt orange. Any suggestions on specific type of rose for a dark orange to burnt orange color? Seeing a lot of peachy shades and also not too confident on my florists' suggestion! Has anyone used something in this shade? Thanks!!

I used circus roses (yellow with red tips) they look orange.

There are several other bicolored roses that might have less of the peachy look.

If you can't find the right shade getting your roses airbrushed is an option.

I love the variety called Milva. They are actually my favorite rose. They are a deeper orange color and sometimes have a bit of red at the tips. They should be pretty easy to order any time of year also.

Leonidas is another variety that may work well. They are a bi color rose that has more of a yellow color on the outside of the petals and a rusty, reddish orange color on the inside of the petal.

    Hope this helps!

Wow!! Thanks for those pics!!!! Hopefully my florist can order something like those!!!! My florist is suggesting the rose called "miracle", but I'm not so sure. It too has yellow on the outside...I'm afraid of too much yellow & not enough orange. Ever seen this one in person?

We used a brighter orange...not sure of the varietal name, tho.

"Miracle" is pretty. Although I think it may read as more yellowish orange since it has yellow on the outside and orange on the inside.
Another thing you may want to consider is using a filler like hypericum berries to bring more of the rusty red color into the bouquet. It would bring a bit of contrast into the bouquet and help break up the roses if they look too peachy for you.

Orange Unique and Miracle are ones that my florist ordered for me last year for Halloweeen.

Hey bluebellCA!! What did you think of the "Miracle" roses you had? Enough orange, or was the yellow very prominent? Yellow definately does not work with my color scheme. But my florist keeps trying to send me to that particular rose.
