Re: Boutineers/ Corsages Who gets one?!

  • Also, Boutineer VS Corsage for ladies? Which is better?
  • I did bouts for my officiants and my ushers as well.  Women get corsages, men get bouts.
  • I've also seen readers, godparents and siblings wear honorary flowers.

PS--Make sure to ask the women if they prefer a pin-on corsage or wrist corsage. Some dresses/fabrics to not lend well to pin-on corsages.
  • This question really depends on your budget, or in your case your time frame. I've seen personal flowers for moms, dads, groomsmen, ushers, officiants, grandparents, ring bearers, people who are special in your lives... anyone you want to highlight. The only think I'll warn you  with that, is if you make a flower for one aunt, and not another, it can cause hard-feelings.

The pin-on vs wrist corsage is a really valid point as well. Most women under 50 don't wear fabric that works well with pin-on. You can also get magnets that go one inside, one outside or the clothing, and won't poke a hole in the fabric.
