Bouquet sizes

So, I'm buying flowers by the dozen and then putting the bouquets together.  One problem...I have no idea how many flowers go in a bouquet.  I'm looking to use calla lilies only in all the bouquets. I want a medium sized one for myself and small ones for the bridesmaids.

So, any advice?

You could look at fake calla lilies in a store and clump them to get an idea (hobby lobby has them for sure).  Or, you could google pictures of calla lily bouquets and count them.

That is a fantastic idea!  Thank you so much!  I was looking at pictures on here of bouquets and found it was hard to count them.  But I love the fake flowers idea.

If you are using regular sized callas, the stems are huge, so you won't be able to use as many, or you will need two hands to hold the bouquet.  Mini callas are easier to work with.

you can always add filler to make them fuller.

Consider the size of the blooms. What color are you using? What type of calla lily?

On size? I'm 5'4", 115lb. My dress has a lot of beading so something simple and smaller is good for me. I'm using an 8" bouquet. I think for this size, in the mango calla lilies, I will need 10-11. I agree with the PP that said you should go to Hobby Lobby and clump them together in order to decide what you want.
