Alternatives to Calla Lilies

Calla lilies are just too expensive for our budget, but I love the clean and contemporary look of them. Does anyone have suggestions for cheaper alternatives?

Have you looked into ordering bulk and DIY?

DIY is probably out because I wll be traveling to attend my wedding so there won't be time. Thanks for your suggestion though.

I just love them... Maybe just get them for your bouquet and his bouttionneire.

Tulips are a pretty close style... maybe them for the bridesmaids and centerpieces... If you are a winter or spring wedding that is...

Tulips are out because your wedding is in December.

I echo the "just do Callas for your bouquet and his bout" suggestion. I did callas in my bouquet and DH's bout and then did similar colored roses for everyone else.

    Hello,
I don't know the sytle of your bouquet, but they do have mini calla lillies.  Don't cost as much.  They would work great for his boutineer and in your bouquet with other flowers.    Snaps and stock give a clean long line if that is what you are looking for.  They are a strong flower and would not cost nearly as much.  Freecia is a distint looking flower with a vibrant scent.  If unsure of these flowers, just google for a picture.  Each of these flowers come in colors and in white.  Good Luck!

Midgemoto - I'm jealous that you guys have tulips in winter there. You don't find them in the southeast during winter. It's usually just March-May :(

i agree, if they are your favorite you should use a small amount of them just on you. i'm doing the same thing with hydrangeas -- they're my fav. and they're only going to be in my bouqet. i'm going to have blue hydrangeas with yellow accents and the girls will have yellow roses with blue delphinium accents. i think using your fav. for yours and having the girls use others would look great.
