colour scheme. purple &....

Hiya
Groom wants to wear a light pastel purple Hawaiian shirt. And maybe bridesmaids a similiar colour. Would purple flowers be too much? Or a contrasting  colour? what colour would be nice.

A contrasting color would be better -- red, orange, yellow or green.

I think it's up to you and what you like...all different shades of purple with maybe a little yellow or white mixed in to help everything pop could be gorgeous.  Otherwise thing about what if, if any, other color you might want to have!
