I'm DIY'ing fresh flowers for ceremony and reception to save $$$, but I have florist taking care of my bouts, bouquet, corsages since I have no attendants. It was more cost effective to use a florist for this rather than DIYwith such a small order.
Bouts - white calla lily, Corsages - calla lily with latin lady rose. My bouquet - well it's got a little bit of this and little bit of that. Pic below.

My reception concept pic. This is NOT where I'm holding my reception, but it does have very tall ceilings with hardwood floors. This is just the decor concept I fell in love with.

I have the tiered candles and I was going to do 4 inch square vases with white roses with a few lavender and pink roses low arrangement like the pic. I'm pretty settled on the centerpieces.
The heart of the problem, I have tall ceilings and blank stage space. I feel like I need something with height in the room for balance.
My original plan - to have 6 of these calla lily arrangements. 2 for altar and others in ceremony to moved to reception area for added height. Then I re-visted the site and found that the large stage at the back of the room will have the DJ on it. It's going to be more blank space. So I started searching for something to at least fill the middle of the stage. Then this gladiolus/white carnation arrangement caught my eye. Easy DIY, right color choice, tall height but not overbearing. Well, put them all in one room and it I'm thinking it might be flower overload - roses, calla lillies, carnations and gladiolus. Sounds like too much competition to me. I'm hoping you creative, floral insightful people can help me out. I'm all eyes and ears for suggestions. I do want to keep the ordered flowers and the roses, but it's open season on tall pieces and stage floral arrangements. TIA!
