Flowers

Shamrocks

Hi, 
I am getting married on St. Patricks day and am doing my own flowers.Everythings going really well so far, but i CANNOT find any clovers and I really want to incorporate them in my centerpieces. Does anyone know where I can find them?

    You will be able to find them when the time comes.  All florists can get plants that time of the year for light money  just order them in advance so they can get some nice ones.  

    I have never seen fake ones either... 

    they aren't real popular house plants the rest of the time so could be hard to find now for sure...

    What a great idea too.. I got some really sewwt birch coverep pots for a friends wedding at Sav on crafts... you could pop a plant right in and be good to go,... check them out!

    As a backup, look at bells of Ireland.    This a tall spiky flower in a pretty green shade.

    Talk to your florist...I'm sure they will have them closer to your wedding, and there are many different types typiclaly available, including green leaf with white flowers, burgundy leaf with pink flowers, etc.

    Also, keep in mind that in dim light or in the evening, shamrock plants flowers and leaves "close up"...the may not be as showy as you would like them to be!
