Flowers

centerpieces. just not good enough?

Is anyone else thinking that there centerpieces just aren't "grand" enough.
My Wedding is partly DIY, And my mother and I are designing all the centerpieces but buying flowers in bulk. But now i'm thinking that the centerpieces just dont look like a million bucks, if you know what i mean.

I got approx 10 inch tall clear glass cylinder vases, i will be putting 18" tall lucky bamboos, a couple greens as fillers, one stem of a hydrangea , & a couple other flowers maybe roses, and fresh lavendar .

There will be a satin ribbon around the vase in the middle with my monogram & a couple candles surrounding the vase .

i wish maybe i opted for a vase with a wider mouth ? I just wish i was able to afford 40 flowers at each table, but my budget does not allow that.

I never was afraid of that.  I did DIY, and had a short gold vase placed on a red charger.  Each centerpiece probably had 12-15 stems in it.  They were pretty and elegant...  just not grand and spectacular.

Small centerpieces can be lovely.  Make the best of your budget.
