Flower Girl Issue

The venue that I am booking does not allow flower petals, confetti, glitter, etc.  My niece is going to be my flower girl.  Would it be weird for her to walk down the aisle empty handed or should I get her a small bouquet or something?  Any suggestions would be great!

I was worried about slipping on flower petals so my flower girls carried miniature bouquets.  The florist scaled the bridesmaids bouquets to child sizes.

We're doing pommander balls for the same reason.

Yes, have her carry a little bouquet or flower ball.

More and more places are banning things like confetti and flower petals.

It would be just fine to have the FGs carry a small bouquet, a pomander ball, a decorated basket, or a budget-friendly single stemmed flower.

I would definitely have you carry a bouquet if she can't toss the traditional petals.

She could also toss bird seed, because then the birds would just eat it up! or blow bubbles.

My flower girls are carrying pomander balls made out of silk flowers. We found while testing out various options that real flowers got to be too heavy for them to manage. The girls are 5 and 3 years old.
