Worst Florist Design by Ahn

I carefully chose this florist reading all reviews & also seeing about 5 florist before deciding to go with Design by Ahn.  Me and my husbands met with her a couple times with pictures and detail discussions of what we are expecting.  We wanted a rustic garden feeling for center piece & I did mention that I am not fond of roses.  We also wanted a wheat grass reception card display at reception table for guest to find their table number.  Me & my husband came to her to see the centerpieces.  The centerpieces where nothing like what I wanted & it had many roses.  I ask if she has the pictures I sent her, she couldn't find it & she didn't open the email with the pictures of the flowers I sent her.  At that time we ask what size we should make the table card since she was making the wheat grass display.  She said that she will do the place cards.  We keep asking it is ok for her to do it.  She said yes.  I sent her the guest list & I called her to see if she received the list & she said yes.   Needless to say at the day of the wedding no place card, no flower girl basket & the arrangement at the reception table was left over flowers from rejected center piece in a small vase.  The night before the wedding she told me she couldn't find the flowers I wanted for my bouquet & she a picture of something totally different from what I wanted.  I had to scramble desperately for a substitute bouquet.  It was definitely not worth the stress to work with her.  I regret to have chosen her.  Poor communication & very disorganized.  I discourage anyone from working with this florist.

As the owner of the business, I was horrified to see this negative review. There are many innacuracies with this person's statements.

On the day of the wedding the fiance stopped by to take pictures of all the arrangements and bouquets, which were sent and approved by her. The only complaint on the day of the wedding that came from her was the wheat-grass display for the place-cards. We did in fact provide a wheat-grass display with place-card holders for her as we promised. She never requested for us to make the actual place-cards (which service we do not provide).

She did send an email with the guest list 2 days prior to her wedding- we naturally

assumed it was so that we knew the total # of guests so that we can make the proper number of place-card holders. She asked us to provide a wheat-grass display for her escort card table (which we did), and not to the actual place-cards. We did reach out to her to apologize for the miscommunication, and offered her a full refund on the wheat-grass display.

As for the centerpieces, I knew that she was not a fan of roses but working with a

budget, we did have to include some roses (which the bride agreed upon)- and they were not rejects as she claims. We only use premium flowers, and these happened to be super green roses. I made the centerpiece size larger than what she had budgeted them for ($50).

I sent the pictures of the centerpieces for approval, and she did approve them in her email response. I do not know why she claims I did not open her email- we read and reply to all our client’s emails.

For the bouquet flowers, I explained to her that the flowers she chose were not in season. We did have to make a late substitution after I exhausted all options as no supplier happened to carry them for the week.

I am curious to her claim that she did not receive the flower girl basket. It was sent out along with all her other items, and this is the first time I am hearing of this. If she in fact did not receive the basket (or it was misplaced), I would have gladly provided her with another one.

I do have all email correspondences as proof to my statements. Additionally, to this

date the complainant has not paid us for the service that we provided on the wedding day
