Purple/Pink/Cream Centerpieces

Hi ladies!

I'm currently in the flower stage of planning and I'm interested in seeing some of your centerpieces! I'm primarily interested in light pink roses, lavender roses, cream roses, and perhaps some dark purple carnations! I think I'm going to create me own centerpieces, so I just want to get an idea of how many of each flower to include and what size I want. If you don't have any of the above flowers, feel free to post pictures of your centerpieces anyway! I love flowers!

Here are some pics of my centerpieces.  I had two different kinds...one with all flowers and then another with submerged flowers and floating candles.

And then my bouquet just because I loved it so much!

As for how many flowers you will need and what size arrangement you want...you will need to do a few trial runs.  Purchase the flowers that you would like to use and put together a centerpiece.  From there you will have a better idea of how many of each flower you will need and what size arrangement you may want for your tables.  Practice makes perfect and DIYing your own flowers takes a lot of time so it is best to do some trial runs before completing the actual arrangements.

  • You will need 12 roses, 4 pink, 4 mauve, 4 creme and 9 carnations.  Put them in a low vase or container.  Remember, your guests are sitting and they want to see the flowers, not the stems.  Bunches Bob

  • Bob has great advice.  I really like dark purple lisianthus instead of carnations, but it's a personal preference ;)
  • Thank you!! I've decided to arrange the centerpieces in mason jars (we recently inherited a ton for free!), so I might be able to get away with slightly less flowers in each jar.
