vases for bouquets

I'm wanting to have vases on the head table to put the bridesmaids bouquets in during the reception but I don't know what size the vase needs to be.  Are most bouquets the same size? Any thoughts?

Ask your florist to provide them.. If not use 3 by 8 inch cylinders... make sure the bases are wide because they will be top heavy...

we bought some vases at the dollar store and i was worried about this as well but shockingly they fit. i didn't even think about asking my florist. i should have. i would say the vases we bought were around 10 inches high and 5 inches wide.
