Apparently people don't want $$

I feel like I have contacted every florists in the sacramento reigon and NOT one has emailed or called me back to set up a consultation. Its starting to drive me crazy. I don't want to do my own flowers, I have no crafty talent at all. What the hell! I have every single thing booked except flowers!???!

Ask your venue if it can recommend a florist.  That's what I did.

Why would you wait for them to call you back? Why can't you just make an appointment on the phone, or just stop in a shop and make one?( bring photos with you in case they have immediate availability).

Ok, first your wedding isn't until July so there really isn't a super rush at the moment...heck I didn't even talk to my florist until April and I got married in July.  Also, you need to remember what time of year it is.  Holidays especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas are one of the busiest times of the year for florists.

So, I would suggest, instead of getting all huffy and puffy, to actually go into the florists shop.  This way they won't be able to ignore your messages and you will be able to leave your name, number, and wedding date with whomever is there and possibly set up a time to have a consult (do not be surprised if this isn't until after the first of the year).  Not to be mean (I use to work in a florist) but booking a wedding that isn't taking place until July during one of the busiest times of the year is not high on the florists priority list.

yes yes and yes. One thing I really do not like is a bride who wants to "talk "wedding on the phone. Very few florists will do this. And to have a snarky attitude will only make someone NOT want to speak with you at all.Cop an attitude  with me and I won't do your flowers for any price...don't need the drama,so  change you attitude and play nice is my advice.

Agreed. While working at a liquor store, I handled several wedding contracts and turned down several because they were too difficult and rude to work with. If you approach a vendor with patience, open ears, a clear idea of what you want, and absolutely no attitude, they will be willing to go the extra mile for you. Remember to be polite and see them as human beings, not just the business robot. The vendor will not miss your $$ if you are impolite/rude.
