baby's breath

hello all!
I'm looking for info on baby's breath. I really do love the way the large clouds of them look, and I hear that they're fairly inexpensive. Is it true or just one of those wedding myths?

You can get an idea of wholesale prices here:

But most of the expense for wedding flowers is the labor in arranging them, not the cost of the foliage.

it is inexpensive and fun.. be sure to use" million stars " babies breath because it is a lot sturdier than the old kind.
It  needs to be properly conditioned to open up big and strong... be sure it goes into hot water with a small splash of bleach when it arrives and let it drink for 2 days... then you are good to go on an really easy and pretty do it yourself project/.

YES!  They are inexpensive, but keep in mind when you hire the florist, they will charge for labor since they are creating your bouquets.

a word of caution with large ammounts of baby's breath: they smell bad when in large groups.  A gf of mine was at a wedding where they did this and she said it smelled like a wet diaper at all the tables b/c of the babys breath.
