help with bouquets...

I can't decide what i want to do with mine or my bm bouquets. I want hot pink and white roses. I was thinking for my bouquet that i would do 10 hot pink and 6 white and for the bm's i would do 4 white and 2 hot pink. Should the bouquets be all the same color? Are the number of flowers in each bouquet about right? I'm not really a huge flower person so i don't know!!! TIA

Re: help with bouquets...

  • I used to work in a florist for about 8 years.  The main thing I learned while there was that odd numbers are your friends.  Using an odd number of flowers look much better then an even amount.  With the case of your BMs bouquets, using only 2 pink roses will make the bouquet look like it has eyes.

So, I think you should use 11 hot pink and 7 white roses for your bouquet and 5 white and 3 pink for your BMs.

My BM bouquets were 7 white roses--I ended up being slightly disappointed with them and wish I had done more like 10-12.  My bouquet was 26 and that I was happy with

You could also maybe do a lighter pink tone for your BM's bouquets, to make your hot pink bouquet stand out more?   Coral or light pink?

I will have to agree with the "odd number" comment above. Also, to make you and your bouquet stand out more, I might suggest that you have the big, full, hot pink and white bouquet while the bm's carried smaller, all-pink bouquets.
