not a fan of boutonniere

I am not a fan of how boutonnieres look on mens jackets. Is it unusaual to not have them?

    If you don't like bouts you can always just have your guys wear pretty/colorful handkerchiefs/pocket squares in their breast pocket.

    My husband didn't want to wear a boutonniere and thought they were a waste of money, so he and his guys wore pocket squares that matched the girls' dresses.  No one said anything about it.

    my husband did pocket squares for him and his guys (he had an ivory one, the guys had burgundy).  it looked classy, and NOBODY commented on missing flowers, etc. not to mention, they didn't get crushed/ruined/fall apart throughout the night either =)
