What color are your flowers/brides maid dresses

I want to have pink flower, a few different shades of pink, maybe some champagne, maybe some green? But mostly pink
I have no idea what color to have my maid of honor wear! Its just her, so i dont need to worry about a group of girls. I was thinking navy blue, but we are going to get married on the beach at the end of summer. I think navy is to dark fo a beach wedding.
(like we are litterly getting married in the sand and having dinner steps away in the lawn)
What color are you flowers and your girls wearing?

  • I think navy would look great on the beach.

This is the BM dress color and the flowers we had:

  • I think navy would be perfect.  I wouldn't worry so much about the color being too heavy as what fabric the dress is made out of...like I wouldn't have her wear a big satin ballgown but rather a short chiffon dress.

My BMs wore green and had purple/green flowers...

  • I think navy would look great.

My bridesmaids' flowers will be pink (mine are going to be white) and they're wearing gray, like a charcoal gray.

    Kind of like this:

  • My BMs wore champagne and all the flowers were white.  FWIW, I love pink and champagne and almost did it myself.  But I agree, pick whatever color you want and just have the style and fabric of the dress be light and airy.

I think pink looks good with almost any color dress (depending on the shade, if you have a particular flower in mind, maybe you could buy a stem if you're really concerned with how it will look against the dress).  Our BM's dresses are plum and their flowers are a lighter version of the plum (a lot lighter), with champagne accents.
  • I like the idea of gray.  It's not too hot and you could get it in a bluish shade.
  • What colors look good on your MOH and fit your vision of the wedding?   I walked into a salon with five women with very different colorings.    I knew that I wanted blue.  Together we figured out a deep blue called marine was the best shade of blue on them.   I chose to use yellow and blue flowers in the bouquets and the decor.  I also added in cream linens wtih a cream and thread of gold overlay.   Start with a color family  (I still think blue is a great color family) and then look at variety of shades of blue to pick your unique vision.
  • My colors are red, black, and silver. Bridesmaids dresses are black. Thinking of having a mixture of red, white, and pink. Does pink and red go together?

  • My BMs are wearing light blue with champagne sashes, and the flowers are pinkish purple orchirds with white spray roses.
  • Yes, as long as you are okay with a kind of valentine's sort of look. I think it is pretty.

  • Now my dresses for my bm are black and thinking of white, peach, pink or yellow carnations with them.
