    Hey, 
     I had to do this with our DJ. I just emailed him and said "Thanks for taking the time to talk with me about your services, but we decided to go with another DJ." I never did get a response back, but I felt that I needed to tell him so he didn't think we were for sure going with him.

    say thank you for your time but we have found another florist... If you don't have a deposit down no big deal..if you do you will probably forfeit it.
