Flower Alternatives?

I really love the look of peonies, but they will be out of season during my wedding month. Other than garden roses, are there any other flowers that have a similar look?

I also like hydrangeas, but they don't come in any of my wedding colors. Is there a similar flower that I could use to get the same look as a hydrangea?

    My florist suggested dahlias to me instead pf peonies - they're less expensive but have a similar look.  I'm not sure when they're in season, though.

    I believe dahlias natural season is late summer to fall, so great for a Sept wedding.
