If the flowers are already made up into bouquets, bouts, and cosages, they should be fine, but need to be kept cool, like in a refrigerator, a cool room, or a cool garage.  If you store them in a refrigerator, it should be one without fresh fruits and vegetables, or it might wilt the flowers.

If the bouquet stems are not wrapped all the way, keep the cut ends of the stems in a vase or bucket with just a little water, and wipe of any excess just before the ceremony, so they don't drip.

For bouts and corsages that have wrapped stems with no way to water them, keep them loosely wrapped or in a plastic box (or large tupperware container, in ziplock containers or bags, etc...) to hold the moisture in, and keep them cool.  They are usually fine for a day or two, depending on the type flowers.

For floral arrangements in foam, you can keep the foam moist, by watering the foam, or sprayng with a spray bottle.  For vase arrangements, just keep an eye on the water level.

If you are getting flowers in bulk, it's usually better to get them a day or two before, to have time to prep them, and to let them "rest" or open up.  If the blooms are wrapped tightly, unwrap them if you want them opened up sooner, or keep wrapped if you want to keep them from opening too soon.  Get them in water ASAP, and trim the ends.

  • This is why Fresh Touch flowers are so handy. You do not have to worry about them lasting! You could have them months in advance if you like.
