hand-tied vs holder?

It's a $30 difference between having a hand-tied bouquet vs a round (in a holder) bouquet.  I've seen the hand-tied in various pics and they're lovely, but I'm wondering if it's really worth the extra money...

My wedding is a very small ceremony in Hawaii, and it's considerably doubtful that the bouquet will make it home...

I just don't know...thoughts would be appreciated.

TIA!

It's all in your preference.  Luckily my florist doesn't chrage a difference between the 2.  If you really want hand tied do it, but if its not a big deal to you go with the holder.  No one will ever be the wiser or even care. . . only you.  Hope this makes sense/ helps

Thanks...it does.  I'm just going to go with the less expensive option.

If you have your heart set on a hand tied look I would look at these holders which would give you the same look and maybe save you money as well.

I personally like the hand tied look, but really it's a personal preference.

I was going to suggest waht "SheDiva" already has. You get teh same exact look of hand tied flowers but no one is the wiser that the bottom stems are a few they already cut off your flowers. You can wrap them with ribbon and no one will know the difference. You might even be able to keep costs down by offering them to the florist so there is no extra charge for her having to buy this kinda of holder. You can find them cheap on ebay and such.

I like the hand tied look much better, plus one of my BM's when she got married last year at the round holder for her bouquets and it didn't look as nice plus they almost broke because the bouquets were a little too heavy for the holders.

sounds like the florist is not all that experienced at making hand tied bokays as they should be LESS expensive than the holders. I have not used a holder for a wedding bokay in ages......and.... I think they last longer as hand tied because we keep them in water until the last minute and we provide a vase at the reception to pop them into.JMO
