Rose petal and candles centerpiece

Has anyone found any good pictures of this?  I can only find a few pictures...  I'm thinking of having some of my tables have simple centerpieces of rose petals and votives.  I'm not sure if I want them thick, more scattered, or in a thick ring around each candle...

Maybe I should put a white sheet on the dining room table and play around with it.

Definitely play around; I think it depends on whether the tables are round or square, etc., and ultimately just what you end up liking.

I personally think scattered petals are more whimsical/romantic than configuring them in, say, a "thick ring" but again, see what you like

Don't know what your colors are but I think it's really pretty if you get some colored glass votives (check out cudge.net) & have a complementary/contrasting color for the petals, like in this image:

Oooh I really like that second picture posted by the PP.  I also really like it when the candles are varying heights.  I think candle centerpieces are beautiful.
