Flowers on a budget

What is the bare minimum for flowers at a ceremony?  I know there's the bouquets, but has anyone gotten away with spending little money on decorating the church?  Thanks!!

Flowers are completely optional. You can have as many or as little as you like. We are not having any floral ceremony decorations-- just what we are carrying or having pinned on.

We had zero ceremony decor.  Zero.

We are not doing any ceremony decor. We're also not doing bouts or corsages. Total price for bouquets (purchased through a florist) will be $280.

We are only doing (DIY) bouquets (1 bridal & 3 BM), maybe 6 bouts.  For "decoration", my mom wants to do pew bows, so that probably won't cost much.  Total for ceremony flowers will probably be $100. 

We will have a bunch of flowers at the reception, so the grand total for floral might reach $500.
