Petals lining a beach aisle

Anyone have a beach ceremony?  About how many petals did you purchase to line the aisle? We are only having seating for about 30-35 people, so probably 3 rows on each side of 5 seats, but I'd like the petals to extend a little further back. TIA

    My friend had a beach wedding but decided to go with seashells instead of petals because of the ocean breeze.  The seashells looked really pretty and it was very fitting seeing as it was on the beach.
