input on this idea needed!

Ok so I am getting married in April and want a spring themed wedding but I can't decide on colors.  So I am going to have them all!  Yes  ALL yellow/orange, blue/purple, red/pink/ and greens.  Bridesmaids will be in black dresses with different colored bouquets with matching shoes.

My issue is how to plan the rest of the decor, like what color to use? can I keep going with all the colors?  What do you think it would look like? Any ideas comments welcome!  Thanks!

That sounds like a great idea. We've done a couple of weddings where the bridesmaids had black dresses and the bouquets were bright colors and they really "popped"

And we actually just did a rainbow wedding where each bridesmaid had a different colored bouquet and coordinating shoes. We weren't sure how this would turn out, but it ended up looking great!

Are you planning on trying to use one flower type? Or all different types of flowers. There aren't really any flowers that naturally come in all of the different colors (blues are especially difficult to find).

For the rest of your decorations, I would definitely say you can keep going with all the colors. Maybe you could do different colors for each of your reception centerpieces. And the head table could either be all the colors, or all white. It would give a great contrast if everything is bright colors, except you and the decorations on your table.

Hope that helps! Check out our website for some more pictures

I think since you are using so many colors in your flowers I would stick with a neutral background color.  So if your centerpeices are all the different color flowers I would go with an ivory or white table cloth or even a very light pink/blush color table cloth...this way the linen color and flower colors won't be clashing with each other.

I agree with pp. If you are using all different colors I would stick with one neutral color for all of your linens. I think if you do that it would be very pretty with all the spring colors.

yes i would go with neutrals. to highlight your colors. white or cream linens. black would look awesome but isnt very springish...green could also be used as a neutral. you could use all of your other bright colors for flowers and just use green for linens. just make sure its more of a muted green so your other colors arent overpowered.

As a floral designer, I tell you this.  Follow those colours through the rest of your decor, that way you keep your theme going.  Bunches Bob
