Water dye

Coloring water seems like it should be so simple, but I'm having a heck of a time figuring how to dye my vase water aqua blue for some of my centerpieces....anyone have hints on how to accomplish this or where (online) I can find the right dye????

I am assuming you have tried regular food dye. Have you tried cake decorating dye? The ones I have seen are kind of a jel type, but they dissolve. They usually have lots of different colors. Good luck!!
