Do Lavender Roses Exist?

MY wedding color is lavender (a light purple more toward the blue side, not pinky). I really want to submerge light purple roses in cylindrical vases, but my florist says all the purple roses are going to be almost pink! Did anyone use lavender roses or seen them used before?

I had lavender roses years ago for my Mom's birthday. I'd just google it as well as searching for multiple online websites. I found them IN the Detroit area, BTW.

I know they exist because they were the first flowers FI ever gave me!  If you haven't already booked your florist, maybe you can look elsewhere to someone that knows they exist?

there are many varieties of lavender roses. I would look at one called blue curiosa as they tend to be a little more towards the color you are looking for.The florist is right when she says they are more pink tho.It is just the nature of real flowers.

Yes, I have seen them.  Not often.  A florist I knew used to sell what was called "Sterling Silver" roses ... they actually looked more lavender than silver.  Yum!

If you can't find the color you want naturally, keep in mind that you can always have the roses tipped or dyed in the color you desire.

They are usually referred to as Sterling Roses and are a bluish-lavender-grey color.

That was a bad florist, Lavander roses do exist, mainly called sterling silver.  As I found out from visiting a few different places some actually can get them in a few different hues.  I would say look around for another place.
