Blue & silver wedding with red roses for bride???

Hi! I have always wanted to have red roses as my bouquet, but our wedding colors are blue and silver. How can I pull it off without looking like a Fourth of July wedding (we are getting married in December)?

    Honestly, whenever I see red, white and blue together, I think patriotic. Could you maybe get roses in a different color, I've seen some gorgeous purple ones. Also, I think they're called black magic red roses that are darker than regular. Good luck!

    I like the black magic suggestion.  Have you thought about a navy blue and red together, and skip the white??

    Do you mean blue & red flowers...or wedding colors in general? We are leaning towards royal  blue and silver.....there will probably ivory accents here and there as well....
