Costco Flowers

Hello,

In order to save money, I'm considering buying bulk flowers from Costco for DIY centerpieces. Have any of you done this, specifically used Costco?  What was your experience?

Thank you

I bought 100 various colored roses for my Mom's birthday last January. According to the tracking element online, it took 3 days from Ecuador to her door.

We took care of them according to the instructions that came in the box. They lasted from 5-7 days.

I'm also probably getting flowers from them online for my wedding in August. I may use other sites that have more varied selections for flowers in addition.

I'd also recommend going to a Costco near you and checking the kiosk area where they have floral arrangements. They use local florists to put these together, and the customer service desk at our Costco gave me her name and phone number. She told me once when I was there that she could do anything special for me. I"m thinking more along the lines of having her order things instead of doing the bouquets, as I like their online bouquet selection. They also have good testimonials.

I'm reluctant to order really delicate things like calla lillies or hydrangeas from them, but have no problem with the white rose packages. In fact, many of the testimonials say if you call them, they'll substitute various corsages or centerpieces for an additional bouquet, etc.

I'd give them 2 thumbs up, but will know more in August after the wedding, LOL.

    Good luck.
