What colour photographs best?

Hi All! I'm in the process of deciding what I want for my bridal bouquet. I've chosen the bridesmaids and have ideas for the decor flowers. But I want mine to be totally different. I was debating on solid white with one type of flower. But now am thinking that might be a bit boring. Has anyone dealt with certain colours that have not ended up being as nice in photographs as in real life???

I really like contrast with flowers.  My BMs wore eggplant dresses and carried white flowers.  I wore ivory and carried dark purple flowers.  I think the contrast really popped in photographs more than white on white.

I would have liked to see the girls in sarahandrew have had the very colorful bokays...the contrast on the girls dresses would have added som vibrancy to the pictures,she could have carried a larger version or the same flowers with a touch of a lighter purple/lavender or a creammy white or a fresh green color. But you have to remember there is no wrong or right choice...it all has to do with what you think looks good.Really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

My girls are going to be wearing pale blue with a black sash. I wanted them to have hydrangeas with a white flower. I was thinking something dramatic for myself with a bouquet of dark red roses, to play against the light blue. My photographer said that a vibrant bouquet for myself will look a lot nicer in pics!

I agree that the bride should carry a colored bouquet, and the BMs carry a white bouquet. If you want the flowers to pop, the red is a great idea! You could use some white flowers with the red roses. I love flowers with texture like mums and peonies, and rananculus.

Reds and pinks show up great in pictures. I've heard that whites don't show up so well.
