Flower help

I am having a december wedding.  My moh's dress is royal blue. I was thinking cream roses and hydrangeous  but I am not sure what color blue I should use.

Thank you all for you help,

Heather

You don't have to use blue in your arrangements. We are doing white hydrangeas and cream roses too. Hydrangeas come in blue if you want to include those.

Its up to what you would like. You dont' have to include the blue in the arrangement if you don't want to though.... There are other ways to incorporate your colours too like the handle.

Our wedding colours are red and black with white accents. The girls will be in red dresses with black accents (my sister is making them all). I decided to go the silk flower route (its just easier for a destination wedding IMO and the ones I found I though looked great) and so to avoid the bouquet blending in with their dresses in the pictures, we went with white roses for their bouquets and I will be making a red rose bouquet for myself. The wedding colours are tied in using the handle:

The shot with the fancy handle is tilted to make the bouquet look smaller haha just realized this :P I also took that picture on my phone with its horrible corny flash...the flowers aren't quite as white as it makes them look lol but they are white...

Personally, I'd go with just a few of the lighter blue hydrangeas with the cream roses.

Because there are not many blue flowers in nature, using too many blue flowers can sometimes look unnatural, or too "matchy-matchy" if used in addition to a blue dress.

Also, the darker or brighter blue hydrangeas sometimes have a little bit of a purplish tint to them.  No matter what color you order, there will be slight variations in the actual flowers that are delivered.

I actually would go with cream roses and Volkerfrieden delphinium (a naturally royal blue flower) and perhaps another color to make the bouquets pop.

Here's a picture of delphinium and white roses, although the delphinium is not the darker blue variety:

I also think these colors are pretty together (although I would sub the whiite tulips with roses):

Here's the Volkerfrieden delphinium with lavendar roses:
