Father/Daughter dance help...

I am actually doing my father/daughter dance with my grandfather and it seems almost impossible to find a song that doesn't metion the word daddy in it. Finally though after months of looking I have fallen in love with the song, There you'll be by Faith Hill. My question though is do you think it sounds too much like a song about someone that has passed away? I mean it always brings tears to my eyes and makes me think of my grandfather everytime I hear it but I also don't want my guests to spend the whole time it is playing, wondering why I picked that song. Thoughts please. Thank you

If it's important to you and you really love it than use it. I doubt people will be paying attention to the words. They'll be watching you and your grandfather dance. :) It is a really beautiful song.

Thanks dovely for the link. I actually have looked into alot of those songs, but the only problem is that my grandfather is really only into country music so it definetly has to be a country song. I really like Johnny Cash's verison of you are my sunshine and he loves johnny cash also. The only problem with this is mother used to sing this to me as a child and she doesn't really get along with my grandparents. :/
