Help! String quartet ceremony songs

I'm planning on having a string duet or quartet at my ceremony. What are some good processional songs that aren't completely overdone? I really like Canon in D for my walk down the aisle, but I was hoping for some other alternatives too that are just as elegant without being overused. I'm looking for all songs.... recessional, bride, bridesmaids, etc.

Re: Help! String quartet ceremony songs

  • Our recessional music will be a string quartet version of the Beatles' All You Need Is Love.
I've also been having trouble finding something I like more than Canon in D for my walk down the aisle!

Posted by cmk42288[/QUOTE]Have you checked out Vitamin String Quartet?  They do string quartet versions of tons of popular songs through the years.  You should check them out.  You might hear something you really like and then you can ask your quartet if they can play them for you.  Good luck!
