Music to follow Groom's Imperial March from Star Wars?

Hey guys,
My fiance wants to walk out to the Imperial March from star wars, but I'm not sure exactly how to follow that. We're doing an (otherwise) traditional Victorian wedding, but I'm trying to find a good classical selection that would work for the bridemaid's processional after his entrance, and then a good song to walk down the aisle to myself that would match the grandeur of his entrance.

The problem...all the songs I like are a bit softer and more subdued...ie Delibes Flower Duet, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, La Serrinissima by Loreena McKennit etc.

Help!!

  • Use one of the softer songs.    He is allowing his processional to reflect him. Give yourself the permission to have your processional reflect you.
  • Try his march in instruments that work smother with your song and see if you could make yours a bit louder of the two.
