xp First Dance Question

My fi and I are both big fans of Metallica and Apocalyptica (a heavy-metal group of 4 cellists from Finland who started out as a Metallica cover group). We know that we definitely want "Nothing Else Matters" as our first dance song, but we can't decide whether to use the Metallica version, with the lyrics, or the Apocalyptica version, which is much prettier, but no lyrics.There's an ok mix of the two (done digitally,) but I'm not sure if it sounds too weird.

I was wondering the same thing...this might be our first song...still so undecided and time is running out!!

It seems to me that to dance the Metallica orginal properly it would be better to waltz to it, because the music really seems to sway that way. That might just be me though. The Apocalyptica is less so because of the way it's arranged and it is beautiful. You could always have a guest sing-a-long, too!

I think either is a great choice. The Apocolyptica is more crowd friendly, too, if you want to take that into consideration.

I personally think we will end up going with the Apocolyptica.
