Harpist?

My fiance and I want an outdoor wedding. My future mother in law emailed me suggesting we have a harpist play for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I'm not sure how I feel about it and want some opinions.

    As a musician I can tell you that many harpists hate playing outdoors. Their instruments are very picky to changes in weather, not to mention very expensive. The few harpists I know would only play for indoor weddings because of this.

    I am also having an outdoor wedding the end of May.  I was interested in having a harpist but when I spoke with her she explained how sensative the harp is to temperature and that she would have to use a smaller.  We ended up deciding against it.
