Groom with Sister Dance

My fiancee's mother died a few years back, and we had the idea of him dancing with his eldest sister for the Mother/son dance. Would that be appropriate? And any suggestions for songs would be GREATLY appreciated since we cant seem to find a song to fit. Thanks in advance :)

I think it is a great idea. My fiance's father passed away a couple of years before his sister's wedding, and he stepped in and did the 'father, daughter' dance with her. I didn't know them at the time but from the pictures and the stories they had a blast with it and it seems like a good memory.

Another idea would be an Aunt maybe who he is close with??

I also agree with whatever song makes them laugh, have fun with it!!

I think it's a wonderful idea. My cousin's father passed away and she danced with her oldest brother.

Different cousin did a special dance with her brother and they danced to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." It was upbeat, but has a great meaning.
