Photographer Question

Are there any questions that must be asked of a photographer?  I am meeting with our potential photographer Friday night and want to be prepared.

TIA!

I would ask to see a complete wedding from beginning to end so that you see how they will capture the day.  Also ask to see a wedding at your venue if they have one, or one that was shot in similar lighting (outdoors, candelight, cathedral, etc.).  Also confirm that you will get the rights to your images and high resolution images on DVD.  Confirm how many hours you will have them and how many shooters you will have.  If you will have a second shooter, ask to see some of their work as well.

All this being said, a good photographer will do the above without you asking and will do most of the talking.  I think it's also important that you just "click" with them and their personality.  If you are doing all the talking or asking lots of questions, that's a red flag.

I feel preety good with what I have seen of his work already we are meeting with Colton from Six Fourteen and everyone seems to gush and rave about his work.  FI is the one who is hard to please.

Could not agree more with the above.  Also, ask to see a few full weddings.

I agree that it is a must to see a full wedding from a photographer bedore you hire them.  The good ones will have no problem doing so.
