I am getting married in 12 days, and I cannot decide on an introduction song, where we will enter and be introduced as Mr and Mrs... I also cant decide on a song that is not gender specific for our mother/son and father/daughter dance. We are doing the parent dances at the same time.. Thanks!!

A song at the end of the ceremony to introduce you as Mr & Mrs?  Or at the reception entrance?  Do you want it to be classic, maybe an old-school love song or something current and upbeat to "get the party going!"?

For the first dances, I would suggest something classic, like "Wonderful tonight" (Eric Clapton) or "Wonderful world" (Louis Armstrong) that is just a song about love, not necessarily a very specific song about a mother/son or father/daughter relationship.

For being announced into the room - choose a song that makes you and your fiance feel like rockstars, because that truly is one of the most fun moments in your day!  My husband and I used Joey Ramone's cover of "Wonderful World".  Feel free to borrow it if that suits your style!

As for the Mother / Groom & Father / Bride dance, I like Naomi's ideas about choosing a song about love in general.  She gave you some great suggestions!  You could also do "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack or "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" by Elton John.

We are most likely doing our father/daughter & mother/son dance at the same time to "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. It's both my dad's and my fiance's mom's favorite song.

As for the reception entrance song. I'm no help. I'm still struggling with ours as well and we meet with our DJ this Friday to go over details.

For the parent's dances. I love the idea of dancing to "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins. Super sweet.
