Father/Daughter Dance

When I was little my dad would sing "All My Loving" by the Beatles to me every night before bed.  Please be honest, would that be a weird Father/Daughter dance song because it's about two people in love? I want the Father/Daughter dance to be meaningful, and I've never been "Daddy's Little Girl" so it's making it a little harder. I could use all the help I can get! Thanks

I think its completely fine! I think its better when people choose songs that actually mean something to them (whether is father/daughter, first dance, etc)! I also don't think too many guests are going to sit there an analyze the lyrics. You could even say that it was a song thats special between the two of you!

Maybe ask your dad what he thinks? Especially if you're not "daddy's girl" a love song might be awkward. If you like it though, who cares what anyone thinks?

Do you have a Wedding March song yet? They Fell in Love is the Newest Wedding March for the Bride and her Father. Moving - Acoustic Guitar and Piano with a heartfelt Violin.

The intro of the song: The Bride and Father stand at the top of the aisle. When the violins kick in, they start the emotional walk to the man of her dreams. So moving.

My mom's Father/Daughter dance was John Lennon's Stand By Me because he used to always play that song on the guitar for her growing up. I'm only mentioning this because it seems to be similar to your situation. My point is, It's not so much about the song, but the meaning of it between two people. I would say deffenitely go for it!
