Father daughter dance - song

I came across this song for the father daughter dance but am wondering if it is weird because he is talking about being in the water? I like the song...but not sure if its appropriate....my wedding is a long way away (Aug 18 2012) I know but it's always good to start getting ideas now! Whats your thoughts on this song?

    That song is so stinkin' sweet I can't stand it. 

    I don't think the "water" part is a big deal, and I don't think your guests will be listening to the words and interpreting them so literally either.  For what its worth another bride was on here not too long ago saying that she was using this song for her father / daughter dance too.

    Annnnnnnnd now I'm crying.  I remember this song from Knocked Up. 

    Such an amazing song.  I say go for it.

    Yes thanks! I was trying to remember where I heard it first and my cousin told me that its at the end of knocked up. I love it - and its different (well to me anyways) and I like the tune and the lyrics. I still have a long time to change my mind but that my #1 right now :)
