2 father daughter dances?

My step dad raised me since I was 5, but my biological dad is still in my life. Should I do 2 father daughter dances or would that make me look selfish?
My step dad is walking me down the isle, so should I just do the father daughter dance with my bio dad?

I think if you want to do 2 dances that is great. It gives a time to honor both of them as your fathers (in different ways of course).

Something that I did, was I had my dad pick out the song he wanted to dance to. It gave him ownership and it is something special I will always remember. Its the way he views our relationship. So, you could have them each pick out their own song.

Something I would not do is one right after the other.

  • If it were me, I wouldn't do a F/D dance at all. If I were you, I would just do the dance with bio dad. That way you're honoring both dads.

  • I am doing two dances but not the whole song. I am going to crop the songs so that they sound natural but not too long and boring for the guests. I am just having a hard time thinking of a good song with my step-dad. My bio-dad and I have a song that we use to always sing when I went to visit him so that will be our song (Cheeseburger in paradise) but I am having trouble finding a song for my step-dad I don't want something sappy. I am also having both of my dads walking me down the isle.
