2 Dads...2 First Dances...HELP!!!

I have no problem with my stepdad (who is my Daddy)...picking our song. The trouble is when I have to pick a song to dance to with my real father.  He and I aren't really close...but I don't want to leave him out. We don't have that "father daughter" relationship. HELP!!!

You can pick a song that isn't over the top "Daddy's Little Girl" themed.

Like - What a Wonderful World, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Unforgettable, Isn't She Lovely, etc.

There's no law that says you have to dance to "I Loved Her First" or "Butterfly Kisses", so just pick a pretty song that you like and don't worry too much about the father / daughter theme.

Try something  without that daddy-daughter sentiment..
Wonderful World is a good one, As Time Goes By, I agree with the other advice you received..just pick a nice song without mushy words!

Why don't you try something that is more fun than soppy... does your Dad like rock music??

We don't have this issue in the UK.. there is only one first dance and that is with your new hubby!

Hope you find the perfect song : )

You could do something like The Way You Look Tonight.  It's available by various artists, and he'll be proud of you and it's not super "father-daughtery."

Man I am having the same problem. My step dad raised me but I am closer with my real dad. I dont know who to dance with first or what songs. I am at a complete loss. And to make it even better they both hate each other.
