Where did you buy your wedding band?

Hi ladies! I know I don't post here often (I'm usually on the Destination Weddings board) but I was wondering if y'all could help me out with some recs for wedding bands. I searched through some of your previous posts and saw that a lot of you had not had good experiences with chains like Kay or Jared. I would prefer to use an independent jeweler (or just not kay or jared.) Fi and I live downtown, but would be willing to go Fort Worth, etc for a really good jeweler :)

Thanks so much for any recommendations!

I was going to use titaniumkay dot com. I began looking on amazon one day and noticed that titanium kay has a store on amazon as well and some of the prices were cheaper. I went that route and actually ordered 2 bands. I received them 4 days later. Oh, and we had already shopped for rings before so I knew what he wanted.

We got my diamond and original solitaire setting from Robbins Bros. Steven said he had a great experience there.

That being said, we didn't buy anything else from them. We just found better deals on the rest of it other places. I got my wedding set (new engagement setting & wedding ring) from Gold n Carats in Valley Ranch. They're family friends, good people, and fantastic jewelers. They've done any repairs I've ever needed on any of my jewelry, and soldered my rings together for free because I purchased them there.

We got my engagement ring, my band, and his bad from Zales in Southlake. The ladies there are so wonderful and helpful and the prices were great. We got the warranty which means I can have it cleaned at any Zales I want as often I want, they fix any damages for free, and they will "redip" it whenever I want to too! If you go in ask for Deloris or Kim, they are the best!

We used an independent jeweler in Addison, Kim Gillespie for mine.   My husband ordered his titanium band from boonerings.com.

We used Robbins Bros in North Dallas.  We had wonderful service every time we went there.  Got the engagement ring there as well as both of our wedding bands.  If you watch, they have some pretty good promos at times.  We got FI's band (titanium) for free with the purchase of my band.

Kay's, I have mixed feelings about them. It is really hit or miss with their repair service and sales team aswell.

We used Nasr Brothers - they have a store at the Firewheel Mall in Garland.  They were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Robins Bros.  Great service, and warranty. Plus, its on my way to work (the one in Dallas) so I can stop in before work, drop it off for cleaning, and pick it up on my way home.

Also, my e-ring is semi-custom, they helped Fi pick it out, and after he proposed I got to go in and pick out the center stone.  It was so much fun.

He used Whiteflash in Houston for my e-ring. We used Sam's Club for our bands.

We did not have a problem with Jared's in Lewisville, and got $200 off our bands because they were running a promotion when we got my ering. Got a metal warranty that covers sizing or damage. Also free cleanings at any Jareds, and it only takes a couple minutes. They had great financing-- 0% interest for 12 months.

I would also recommend Fuller's in Addison too, although we did not buy anything there. They have good service &repairs.

I got my engagement ring fitted at CM Yater & Sons (Just off of Preston on Sherry I think). The ring was too small, and they were so  nice and accomodating (and the ring looks amazing now in my right size!). When we picked it up FI tried on some wedding bands and I looked at a few as well. We haven't picked anything out or purchased anything yet but based on my experience with them fitting my engagement ring, they are the first place we'll look when we decide to actually buy them. I think they've been in Dallas for over 50 years.

I saw TAM mention Fullers, and that is where my FI got my ring, and we picked out his band there.  Both of our siblings are also engaged, and the e-rings came from there.  They are always friendly, remember me any time I walk in (I get mine steamed cleaned often).  Have been great fixing any problems that we have, and negotiate on price.  I highly recommend them.

My FI got my engagment ring at Collections Fine Jewelry in Saginaw.  we also got his wedding band there and they made my wedding band to match my engagement ring.  Very friendly and helpful and easy to work with.
